So i noticed that my inner tie rod grease boot on the passenger side is "rubbing" on the swaybar. Talked to cognito and they said the idler pivot is bad. The center link is angled higher on the passenger side than on the driver side. Are they referring to the brace they sold me or the idler arm itself?

Quote from cognito.
You idler pivot is probably bad, or bent if it hits on the passenger side.

Any opinions? any damage to other parts of steering cause of this?

So to everyone with idler pivot box is it worth the $200 price tag? How long have you guys been running them and how are they holding up?

EDIT: I don't have a welder so could install it and drive it to a welder?

Alright thanks guys. This project is on hold now since there is a steady stream of coolant flowing out the bottom of my truck from the block. Extended GM Warranty FTMFW. And they gave me a brand new buick lacross as a rental.
