Default 60,000 Mile Service

How much does one usually run? What do they check? And what usually needs to be replaced.. It's an 01 NBS Sierra.. Already past the 60,000 mark and i wanna see what I could possibly do on my own to save money..

Thumbs up Re: 60,000 Mile Service

What all is supposed to be done? Most of it is easy I'm sure if you have some basic tools.

Yeah that's what I'm looking for.. i think the only thing i would want them doing is changing the trans fluid and possibly the axle fluids.. maybe even greasing the suspension and all that.. things like spark plugs, fuel filter, etc.. im sure i could all do myself with my nifty Haynes manual

I believe it does, but I think there's a few more things their not listing.. possibly stuff that they check to see if it needs to be replaced.. i might just end up reading up on a couple old books and seeing what needs to be checked every xx,xxx amount of miles.. and then do everything myself except for the things previously named
