Default Single vs. Dual Wall Exhaust Tips

I'm going to be getting the gm accessories exhaust tip for my truck, should I get the single wall or the dual wall, and why ?

I think single wall looks better,
but should I be worried about the exhaust flow discoloring the shiny exterior, where on a dual wall the part that would be discolored wouldn't be noticeable, or will that not be a problem.
